International Women’s Day at Winfield House is perhaps the most important out of all the events we host here. Why? Because everyone is there for the same purpose. To make a change.
This year we extended our dialogues to over 60 people in the morning including Andrea Wong of Sony, Natalie Porter from Net-A-Porter, Matthew Barzun the US Ambassador and Lord Davies of Abersoch, CBE. Every ‘mentor’ was encouraged to bring a ‘menthe’ who made a pledge as to what changes they would make.
The evening reception was attended by over 300 guests, where we had an incredible performance from the rather amazing Lianne La Havas. A true musician with a kind soul. Her music spoke volumes of words and couldn’t have been more fitting to celebrate IWD.
So what’s your pledge?
