A moment of reflection and glory. Duran Duran came back with their epic new album Paper Gods (making this their 14th…). A band, who formed in Birmingham in 1978, have become one of the most influential and successful bands of ALL time. Selling over 100 millions records worldwide, they have multiple Grammy, BRIT, MTV Video Music Lifetime Achievement Awards and Ivor Novello. Timeless, tireless innovators and always at the vanguard of music, this group’s appeal never seems to lose its flame.
And they treated 3,500 people to a sampling of their latest tracks, as well as some of their old classics. What a way to celebrate July 4.
